Members are not required to compete, or attend any team events; everything is optional and at your own pace! We are always looking for new members. Whether you are a seasoned pro, a recreational skier, or someone who is interested in simply getting on top of the water; we welcome you!
1. Come to a meeting! We meet every Tuesday at 8 p.m. in Room 281 of the Student Recreation Center. Come learn what collegiate water ski is all about! Make sure to follow our Instagram @aggiewaterski and our Facebook @Texas A&M Waterski Club where we will be posting our meeting times throughout the semester!
2. Complete Assumption of Risk/Standard of Conduct Form. This form is required to ski at our lake so make sure to complete it before coming to the lake. This form needs to be completed every year.
3. Fill out and notarize Lord's Lake Release Form. This form is also required to ski at our lake so make sure to fill it out and get it notarized before coming to the lake. We have a team notary that can notarize it for you for free at a meeting or at the lake. This form only needs to be filled out once.
4. Come ski at the lake! Message us through our Contact page, email an officer through our Leadership page, email us at texasamwaterski@gmail.com, or join our potential skiers GroupMe to find out when we are going to be out at the lake! Make sure to complete your Assumption of Risk/Standard of Conduct Form and bring your filled out and notarized Lord's Lake Release Form with you when you come to the lake. You get two free trips to the lake before having to pay dues.
5. Pay dues. Dues are $325 for the semester. This goes to cover boat cost, lake rent, gas for the boat, transportation and lodging for tournaments, club equipment repair, and general maintenance. You can pay dues to an officer in either cash or a check made out to TAMU Water Ski.
